Apprenticeship and Career and Technical Education (CTE)
About
As states work to bring Registered Apprenticeship Programs (RAPs) to scale, one strategy for increasing the pool of potential apprentices is aligning RAPs with Career and Technical Education (CTE). Federally funded CTE programs share a number of features and goals with RAPs that give participants access to high-quality, occupation-directed training that combines classroom instruction with real work experience, and Perkins V funding can be used to support RAPs.
Check out the resources below for ideas, tools, and promising practices on aligning RAPs and CTE programs.
