Resources to Support the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act through Registered Apprenticeship

The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) also known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), signed into law on November 15, 2021, includes significant investment to expand the workforce in the infrastructure industry and promotion of apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship training programs to support large-scale infrastructure projects. States can use the IIJA funding to further registered apprenticeship expansion in the infrastructure sector.

- Registered Apprenticeship and Opportunities to Leverage Infrastructure Investment Job Act Funding Webinar provides an overview of how states can assist the infrastructure industry with the creation of registered apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs to train new employees resulting from jobs created by this Act.
